Rodcast 117: Christmas 2012

Are you ready for the most secular Christmas discussion ever done on a religious podcast? Well first you'll have to sit through a bit of Etherial musings (musings regarding Ether).

I said Hanukkah Harry was Phil Hartman, but it was obviously Jon Lovitz.

That Christmas quiz we took? You can take it too. Right here. It's messed up. I took it like 10 times after the recording and it doesn't count any form of right answer for the busiest shopping day of the year. Not the day after Thanksgiving, not Christmas Eve, nothin'. Also, apparently the suicide rate stays the same, the two brothers exchanged moleskin pants, the reindeer are named Dunder & Blixem and early candy canes had no stripes (no symbolism apparently).

Rodcast 116: Hie to Kobol

For anybody turned off by the idea of The Iron Rodcast tackling the fictional world of Battlestar Galactica, keep in mind that we also mused about some of the concepts in Ether for like five minutes. Oh, and also we answered some viewer mail regarding Brigham Young, W.W. Phelps, David O. McKay and other things we really have no idea about.

I forgot to tie-in something regarding the Kolob talk. I meant to say that my belief in Kolob is crazy and weird enough (yet true) that I have a difficult time making fun of the wacky beliefs of other crazy beliefs such as Scientology.

Anyway, download here!

Rodcast 115: R

Scott guested again to share a few R-rated movie suggestions. Also, don't watch them. Don't watch ANY movies apparently.

For the record, the person typing this sentence doesn't feel there's anything wrong with self-flagellation in the name of holiness -- just as long as the individual realizes the pain could, literally not in a million years, come close to Atonement levels.

You demanded it! You viewed it! You can't un-view it!
