ReplyDeleteWe went over a lot of good Proverbs and Psalms in our lesson a few weeks ago. Here are a few we went over
"22 A merry heart doeth good like a medicine: but a broken spirit drieth the bones."
"19 It is better to dwell in the wilderness, than with a contentious and an angry woman."
"7 For as he thinketh in his heart, so is he: Eat and drink, saith he to thee; but his heart is not with thee."
...and this one is similar to advice from Captain Spock in "The Undiscovered Country"
10 The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom: and the knowledge of the holy is understanding."
I've always liked the portrayal of the spirit world in the movie Ghost. It shows how people can have some interactions with the spirit world, but they have to be "in tune" or ready to receive the revelation.
Oh, the worst thing about Jon's computer being down, is the lack of a new creative album artwork. I always appreciate the humorous pictures you come up with.

We were in a ward in Hurricane last Sunday where it seemed like every male was wearing a white shirt. Amazing. Encouraging. So nice to see men outwardly honoring and respecting their priesthood like that. You and I can be white shirt Nazis together, Jn.

There. You have it on pretty good authority that the spirit world does occupy our world, but we just can't see it.
