About the Law of Consecration...notice that the wording of the covenant in the temple is unique among the other covenants. It is more about being ready for it to happen should it be instituted again explicitly...but live it to the degree we are expected to in the meantime. And I agree about callings in family wards...there are many that would kill many of us singles ward people. I know I'd die if I got a certain few of them...
